"When I met with Joel about writing a press release for my company, I was a little cautious. I knew that my uniquely prepared herbal creams, oils and lotions were not necessarily the type of products that he would himself consider purchasing. I gave him all the information I could, and to my delight he created a press release that was exactly what I wanted. He captured my company perfectly, and he knew exactly what approach to take. He even gave me a list of contact e-mail addresses for several local publications. I e-mailed my press release and, within a month, Donah's Passions was featured in the Charlotte Observers Money Wise Retail section. Donah's Passions is finally being recognized with credibility. When I need a press release in the future, I know whom to call upon to write it."

Caricatures are a fun and uniquely personal way to show your clients how much you care for them. They’re great as gifts at Holiday time, party time, personal achievement time, whatever and whenever. They can be used in promotions and throughout marketing materials. In addition to his copywriting background, Joel Kweskin is a professional illustrator and caricature artist whose work has appeared alongside articles in national publications, in trade ads and on local Charlotte billboards. His paintings and illustrations have graced the offices of corporations and homes of individuals including entertainers Barry Manilow and Kevin Pollack; former Carolinas Panthers and Houston Texans Head Coach Dom Capers; NFL referee Red Cashion; the late McDonald's owner and CEO Ray Kroc, and Charlotte businessman Johnny Harris.
Kweskin’s style as a caricature artist is unique in that he doesn’t draw faces as if they came off a template, the way many “boardwalk” or party artists work. His faces are less cartoon-y as a result, and more like the slightly enhanced, stylized faces you might see in a magazine article or on display at museums and galleries. Kweskin has been a professional, sideline caricature artist since first illustrating profile articles for Institutional Investor magazine shortly after graduating college. He can work “live” at events, or from photos.
